I’ve always wanted to learn to knit, and I’ve recently discovered Tunisian crochet, which is a melding of the two, so I’m now thinking that might be a good stepping stone to full on knitting. There are so many websites and books out there, I’m not really sure where to start. Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knitting With the Ease of Crocheting by Sharon Hernes Silverman looks promising. I just added it to my Amazon wish list, and maybe I’ll get around to ordering it some day soon. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on my progress (assuming there is any).

I finally got my free Obama Victory Sticker from MoveOn and was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the sticker. My first impulse was to stick it on my laptop. Instead, it’s sealed up in a plastic baggie. That thing could be worth big money someday! :-D

I just found out my Amazon Kindle finally shipped, after a couple of weeks of (im)patiently waiting. I’m so excited to start reading my books on it.  I’m hoping it will seriously cut back on the number of paperbacks I have lying around the house. Viva la technology!
