I just finished making this Tux for my hubby. I think he turned out really cute. Not bad for my first amigurumi.

Lately I’ve been getting a little bored with the same old crochet. I’ve always wanted to learn to knit, and I’ve recently discovered Tunisian crochet, which is a melding of the two, so I’m now thinking that might be a good stepping stone to full on knitting. There are so many websites and books out there, I’m not really sure where to start. Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knitting With the Ease of Crocheting by Sharon Hernes Silverman looks promising. I just added it to my Amazon wish list, and maybe I’ll get around to ordering it some day soon. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on my progress (assuming there is any).

I’ve been crocheting all kinds of fun stuff lately. Here are a couple of the things I’ve recently finished.
I’m currently working on a beret that goes with the scarf. Good times, fun times.

This is my current project. I’m hoping to finish it by Christmas. It involves crocheting about 2 million little granny squares (which isn’t the problem) then stitching them together (that’s the problem). I’ll post pictures of my progress, if there is any!
